Mariah & Brandon approached me with the idea of creating a maternity gender reveal shoot where they would find out the gender of their first little babe, & then be bale to share the photos with friends & family! I was so pumped as I do not do a lot of maternity sessions & I had never been a part of a gender reveal! Mariah’s best friend delivered the balloon to her & she said that she was so excited all day to be able to pop that balloon!

I met up with the couple in Glendon where they live, a tiny little town in rural Alberta. Before the session I was location scouting & found this adorable old pink building & knew it would be the perfect spot to pop their balloon! Funny story, that pink building is actually the old town bar hahah! After this, we went & found a gorgeous back road & we were blessed with the most perfect fall colours! Speaking of colours, can you believe Mariah’s eye colour, I was literally drooling over it while editing their images!
