I met up with Sam & Taryn at Devon Voyageur Park for their engagement session! I am SO thrilled to welcome these two to the Seanna Leaf Photography family as they get married on August 28th, 2021! I actually had never been to Devon, or this park, before & it was such a beautiful place! Although I can’t really call myself a ‘Devon engagement photographer’ I would love to shoot & explore around that are a lot more! There were a ton of walking trails, some cool ‘beaches’ and even some mountain biking courses. Courses? I don’t know what they are called hahah, I have never mountain biked before (I’ll stick to the flat road, thanks).

When I asked Sam what she loved most about Taryn, she said “his kind heart and that he is so selfless and caring towards others.”. Taryn told me that his favorite thing about Sam is that she “puts all of her energy into everything she does, whether it is creating something or helping someone, she gives herself fully”. Seriously how cute could these two be?!

This was there first time veer having professional photos done & I assured them that they would not need to worry about a thing! It can feel so awkward being in front of the camera, but it is truly my job to make you feel 100% comfortable! One of my biggest tricks is that for the first part of the session, I always have my couples solely interacting with one another, because hey, it’s way more comfortable to be in an uncomfortable situation with the one you love! These two absolutely rocked their session & you would never know that they had never had pictures done together before!

A huge thanks to Sam & Taryn for allowing me into their lives to capture such a special time! I seriously cannot wait for you big day!
