It’s been a little bit of time since I have posted on my blog & man it feels good to be back (especially with this ADORABLE couple)! As we all know, this Edmonton couple’s photographer really slowed down with covid & I truly wasn’t shooting very much so I decided to get my creative juices flowing & plan a couple of shoots! This session took place at the most stunning, plant filled, studio in Edmonton called La Maison ran by the wonderful Pounamu Photography. From the moment I walked into the door I was absolutely in love with the feel & the vibe of the studio!

Cassie & Matteo are a local Edmonton couple who have been together for three & a half years & describe their perfect Saturday being spent in the mountains, enjoying a patio beer after a hard scramble! As some of you may know, I really try to get to know my couples & create a relationship with them so I always ask them to share a couple fun facts about themselves with me. A fun fact about Matteo is that he has travelled solo to a ton of amazing countries like Japan, all over Europe, Indonesia & more. Cassie said that she loves trying strange foods that aren’t typical to North American cuisine. Matteo took Cassie on her first international trip to Thailand and Japan, and she made sure that they tried alllllll the foods along the way!

Also can we all please take a moment to appreciate the colour of Cassie’s eyes?! I literally got lost in them the entire time I was editing!
