Justin and I went to school together, so I was excited to photograph his Elk Point engagement session with Kolbi, who grew up in Rocky Mountain House. I had a feeling they were going to be a lot of fun, and I was not wrong. Justin and Kolbi are such a goofy and fun-loving couple – they delivered on the fun! They had the idea of shotgunning beers during the session, and I was all over that…I may or may not have enjoyed a beer with them. I love when a couple can relax into a session and it feels like a hang out! There was so much laughter, kissing, cuddling, and running through the field. It is my hope that Justin and Kolbi look back on their session years down the road and remember how much fun they had. Their choice to dress in pastel blue was perfect. I can’t wait for this wedding after such a fun Elk Point engagement session! I’ll be capturing J+K’s I dos on June 6th, 2020 at the beautiful Lily Lake Resort in Sturgeon County, AB. The resort keeps up with the rural theme of Justin and Kolbi’s engagement. It features breathtaking buildings for reception and I am beyond excited to get to shoot there (and maybe shotgun another beer)!
