Hawai’i, my most favourite place in the whole world! Tanner & I have been fotunate enough to visit this place many times & this time I was blessed with the honour to photograph Courtney & Tyler’s Hawai’i Proposal session!!

We woke up bright & early to go & hike Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse for sunrise & it did not dissapoint! Starting this hike in the dark & then the sun illuminating the entire ocean in front of our eyes was truly magical! We jumped off the trail about half ways up to watch the sunrise and for Tyler to surprise Courtney. This is where Tyler proposed to Courtney & it was so sweet, her reaction was priceless! We then continued up the trail to the point to see the lighthouse and the Oahu coast.

After hiking down, we headed back to Waikiki to change our clothes & grab an Acai bowl on the beach. We had a full day ahead of us driving up to the north shore & exploring everything we could find. Mid-afternoon we stopped at this stunning beach below for photos and to cool off.

After exploring some more, spending some time at a beach in Haleiwa and of course eating our way up the North Shore (shaved ice included), we finished the day at Sunset Beach. The waves & swells were so big during the time we were there they actually had to cancel a surf competition. It was incredible tp watch the power of the waves and the water roll up on the beach. We were then blessed with one of the most stunning orange and pink sunsets I have ever seen. It is so cool to watch the sun slowly fade below the horizon. Even after the sun had set, shades & hues of blues and purples filled the sky as we shot on the beach.
