Jorianne, Chris & Zeppelin’s favorite place to visit is the Rocky Mountains so it would just make sense that it is where they decided to tie the knot & I am so lucky that they chose me as their Jasper elopement photographer! I met Jorianne years ago as she lived in a small town next to my small town & we would often see each other at sporting events or parties. Fast forward many years & I had the opportunity to meet & photograph herself & the love of her life, Chris, for their engagement photos. Zeppelin is their french bulldog & he is the biggest sweetheart ever! You will see him many times throughout their wedding! I seriously could not handle how adorable he looked all decked out with his floral piece on his collar!

Originally, Chris & Jorianne had planned to have a beautiful big wedding at Pyramid Lake Resort, but due to COVID they had to make some adjustments as not getting married this year was not an option! These two had been engaged for just over two years & they wanted to make sure that they were able to tie the know however possible! They decided to invite their immediate families, as well as their best friends as their bridal party. They had their ceremony at Athabasca Day Use Area, just outside of Jasper near the local airport (peep the awesome shot of the boys with the airplane taking off below).

After their beautiful, intimate ceremony, the guests enjoyed some champagne, brews, and sandwiches in the beautiful Jasper summer afternoon. A huge shoutout to Sheena Rae Beauty for not only being the best hair & makeup artist, but for joining me throughout the rest of the day to ensure the girls looked perfect & be my ‘second eye’ while shooting!

It is so much fun exploring Jasper as every inch of the place is so stunning. For the portraits we hit up Lake Edith & Lake Annette for those stunning blue water views, made our way to Pyramid Island at Pyramid Lake, and also had a *little* hike to the top of a hill for those stunning mountain and lake views. Jorianne & Chris were both such troopers! Poor Chris had blisters from his shoes, and Jorianne who was wearing heels & a dress totally kicked Sheena & I’s butt getting t the top of the hill (& we were in hiking boots hahah).

Thanks again to Jorianne, Chris, Zeppelin & their family & friends for such an enjoyable day! I am so grateful to be a part of your lives & I cannot wait to see what this life has in store for the three of you (maybe a brother or sister for Zeppelin – either human or dog hahah)!
