There is something so sweet that I enjoy about small town weddings, and this Lac La Biche wedding was everything a couple could dream of. Caitlin and Jaime got married on a beautiful and warm October day, surrounded by their closest friends and family members. Their ceremony took place at Jaime’s parents’ house, and pumpkins lined their ceremony aisle. Caitlin and Jaime said “I do,” in front of the water, making for a breathtaking backdrop. Their reception was held at Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park and allowed for the couple to share intimate moments together in between mingling with guests.
You never know what could happen on an evening out – Caitlin and Jaime met at their local bar and exchanged numbers, but didn’t start dating until about six months later. For two years, they did long distance before they both moved back to Lac La Biche. After all the time they spent long distance, this pair is all about cherishing their time together. Their ideal date night is cooking a great meal together at home, taking their dog for a walk, and cozying up on the couch to watch a movie together. When I asked Caitlin and Jaime what their favorite part of their wedding was, they told me, “Our first look and sitting together for dinner at our table, just us.”
Caitlin and Jaime chose a colour palette the complimented the warm autumn colours, and they sure popped in the photos. Jaime wore suspenders in a shade of tan, and many guests came dressed in colours of maroon/burgundy, burnt orange, dark green, and earth tones. Caitlin’s tip to brides is, “If you have a smaller wedding and don’t have a wedding party, make sure to take tons of photos with friends and family.” These gorgeous photos might just inspire you to request that your guests choose to dress within a certain colour palette, as you’ll see how much beauty the detail of colour adds to these images.
I hope you enjoy this gorgeous fall Lac La Biche wedding gallery below!

Seanna is an awesome photographer! So fun to work with and easy to discuss options and expectations. She responded quickly to all of my questions and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
