When Brooke & Ian asked if we could take some photos of them at the St.Paul Alberta Fire Station where they volunteer their time, I was so freakin excited! I even got to sit in one of the new fire engines which was super cool because I had never been in one before! I think that Brooke & Ian got a kick out of how much I was enjoying being around all the fire engines and in the fire station. Brooke looked so fricken badass in her uniform! In my hometown, we also have a volunteer fire department. I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who volunteers their time – I appreciate what you do!  Afterward finishing up in town, we ventured out to Ian’s family farm & got to hang out with their adorable little pup Willow! I seriously could have just cuddled her all evening!

In my last blog post “Why an engagement session is MORE than just taking photos” I spoke about how these sessions are a way to show you & your partners personalities. Although this wasn’t an engagement session (maybe soon though, hey IAN?! =P), this is a perfect example of how in any session we can involve locations, fur babies, or props to really show off who you are as a couple!
