When I was first starting out, I used to be SO intimated by in home sessions. I had a very basic camera & lens setup which wasn’t the best in low light situations & I would panic thinking I wouldn’t be able to find enough light to use. But now with an up to date camera, tons of practice under my belt, and a lot more confidence, I LOVE in home sessions! They are such a neat way to really let your personalities shine through & capture a specific time in your life and I am so excited to share this Vermilion engagement session with you!

Jorianne & Chris moved into their house 2 years ago and have spent countless hours perfecting it by adding their own personal touches. From the badass art on their walls, to their beautiful fireplace, their house truly reflects who they are as individuals & as a couple. And of course, how could I forget about their little fur baby Zeppelin. He is SO darn loved & SO darn cute. He pretty much stole the show during our shoot, but I think we were all okay with that hahah!

I’ve known Jorianne for many years & I was so excited to meet Chris. The love that they have for one another & their shared interests are so apparent & beautiful! I CANNOT wait to watch them celebrate their love & walk down the aisle in 2020 (& of course watch Zeppelin strut down the aisle too)!
