From the moment that I met Courtney & Chris, I could see just how much love they had for each other & their little family! But little did I know, I would get to witness one of the most amazing wedding days filled with so many happy tears & so much love!
Courtney & Chris were married on a very chilly December day, and by very chilly it was something crazy like -30 with the wind chill. That is the coldest wedding by far that I have ever been a part of! They had their ceremony right at their house in their quonset which they turned into such a beautiful gathering place. They had a fire going & hot chocolate ready for all of the guests!
After their ceremony, we went to take photos & we were blessed with such a stunning backdrop of a beautiful sunset with wheat still on the field. Chris maybe wasn’t so happy that the wheat was still on the field, but it sure made for some pretty pictures! Between shots we would all jump in the vehicle with the heat blasted to warm up. Kevin, from Wagging Tails Studios & I would put our hands directly on the car heaters to try & warm up our frozen, no feeling, fingers hahah. Kevin & Jessica are incredibly talented photographers & videographers & it was so fun to watch them work their videography magic!
We ended the evening with some of the most heartfelt speeches I have ever heard (& of course a ton of tears from Courtney) & then danced the night away!
Thank you to Courtney, Chris & your family for making me feel like a part of the family & for allowing me to be a small part of your incredibly special day!
