This Elk Island Park Engagement Session was shot on a very chilly day, but Courtney, Allan & I (& don’t forget the pup Chloe) had the best time! Although I have lived in the area my entire life, I haven’t really explored Elk island Park very much & was actually only there for the very first tie last year! It is truly such a neat & beautiful place that we have access to, and I can’t wait to be able to check it out in the summertime! If you have a favorite place in the area you should let me know where I should go!
Courtney & Allan have a lake lot & they told me how much they love spending time out there & having drinks by the fire with friends so we just new that we had to include that in their session! Courtney was really hoping for fall photos, but by the day their session came around, Alberta had another plan & it was blizzarding. Courtney made the call to continue with the shoot & I am SO glad that she did as the snow held off just long enough for us to get our shoot in! I think this shoot turned out pretty neat as there are images where it totally feels like complete fall weather, and others where it feels like the dead of winter! I was so happy when we all got to warm up by the campfire!
