Geeeeeet ready for one of the best weddings & dance parties I have ever had the honor to attend & photograph! Welcome to Phoenix Wedding Photographer Danika & Geno’s Arizona wedding weekend!

I am so lucky to have an amazing associate photographer Kaylah who has been such a blessing to our SLP team & has shot many weddings for me! Kaylah & Danika grew up together so when Danika mentioned that she was looking at a destination wedding option for her big day, Kaylah suggested me right off the bat! And I am so darn grateful that she did because we had such a great time rooming together, and attending this beautiful Phoenix Wedding!

The wedding took place at Stonebridge Manor in Phoenix and I was so incredibly impressed by the beauty of this venue & the amazing staff! We went for the rehearsal a few days before the wedding & I loved getting to capture all of the friends and family who attended. The venue even has an actual manor on property where the girls finished getting ready in the most adorable room, while the guys got ready down the hall! Peep the amazing staircase where Geno read over his vows & Danika checked out her dress! Because of their later ceremony, Danika and Geno chose to do a first look, first with Danika’s Dad, then Geno. We were then able to checkout the property and shoot some incredible portraits of them & their bridal party with the dreamiest light! Afterwards they had a super special and intimate ceremony, which was officiated by one of their good friends.

You can see throughout the post that Danika & Geno really set aside a few different times in their timeline for portraits, which was SO fun because it gave them so much variety in their photos!

Now when I tell you that this wedding group knew how to have a party – they REALLY knew how to have a party! I don’t know if I have ever been to a wedding where there was so much dancing & fun! I even got to do some ‘shutter drag’ photos (the tones you see where the lights look all crazy). Those are always such fun dance photos!

To wrap up the evening Danika & Geno wanted to do a sparkler send off. This was the largest sparkler send off I had ever done & I was hella nervous but so utterly & completely thrilled with the results!

Now I will warn you that this is a long blog post, but it is SO worth checking out because there are so many small, sweet moments that are included like faces of their guests watching them tie the knot, or the cute little moments of them getting ready.
