First of all, can I just say that these Two Jack Lake, Banff Maternity Session photos feel like they were right our of a movie set? The way that the clouds & the fog was settled into the tress & the mountains when we showed up that morning was literally something out of a dream! I often have to pinch myself when I am able to photograph in the mountains because we are just so dang lucky that we live so close to this magic!

Emily & Nathan knew that they wanted a maternity session as their road to pregnancy wasn’t the smoothest & this little one was nothing short of a miracle. When I had mentioned that I was going to be doing some shoots in the Banff National Park area on the same weekend that they were there for a wedding, we decided we just had to do their shoot there (& boy I am glad that we did)!

This was actually my first time taking a drive up towards Two Jack Lake & I cannot believe that I have never been up that way before! There are so many beautiful areas to explore & I cannot wait to head back in the summer & do some hikes!
